Instructions to use:
Wash Hands Thoroughly
Ensure hands are clean before handling the equipment to prevent contamination.
Select Proper Location.
Place the oxygen concentrator on a flat, stable surface in a well-ventilated area, keeping it away from walls and obstructions.
Plug in and Start the Machine.
Connect the power cord to an electrical outlet and switch on the concentrator.
Prepare the Humidifier Bottle.
Remove the bottle, fill with distilled water up to the marked level, and securely reattach to the machine.
Ensure no water is above the maximum fill line.
Connect Oxygen Tubing.
Attach one end of the tubing to the outlet on the humidifier bottle (if used) or directly to the machine if not required.
Attach Cannula or Face Mask.
Connect the other end of the tubing to a nasal cannula or oxygen mask, as prescribed.
Adjust the Oxygen Flow.
Set the flow rate exactly as prescribed by the healthcare provider using the flow meter knob.
Check for Operation.
Confirm oxygen is flowing: check for bubbles in the humidifier bottle and the sound of the machine running.
Apply Cannula or Mask
Place the nasal cannula in the nostrils or secure the mask over the nose and mouth.
Monitor Use
Regularly check concentrator performance, water levels, tubing, and the patient’s comfort.
Finishing Up
Turn off the oxygen concentrator when treatment is complete, then unplug it.
Remove and store the nasal cannula or mask and tubing as directed.
Daily Cleaning & Maintenance
Refresh distilled water in the humidifier bottle daily.(Add RO water in place distilled water)
Clean the humidifier bottle, cannula, mask, and tubing per manufacturer’s instructions.
Wipe the machine’s exterior with a dry cloth as needed.
Safety Tips
Only use distilled water in the humidifier to avoid mineral buildup.
Do not use the concentrator near open flames or while smoking.
Keep cords and tubing untangled and safely out of walkways.
